Active September on Elba Island: Tennis, Bike Tour and Horse Riding

September is the ideal time to discover the wilder and more authentic side of Elba Island, when temperatures become perfect for spending days outdoors and experiencing nature actively.

At the Tenuta delle Ripalte you have 450 hectares of nature to explore, among the trails of Monte Calamita, vineyards, Mediterranean scrub, and viewpoints overlooking the sea.

For this reason, we have created an Active package valid for the entire month of September, with a minimum stay of 3 nights in a hotel or apartment and three included experiences to discover the territory from different perspectives:

1 hour of Tennis with a qualified instructor

1 Guided Bike Tour of 1 hour
to cycle through the paths of the Tenuta and the views of the Costa dei Gabbiani. The activity is reserved for participants with a minimum height of 160 cm.

1 Horse Riding of 1 hour
at the Tenuta delle Ripalte and in the area of Monte Calamita. Even if you are a beginner, you will have an introduction of about 10 minutes in the field before heading out for the ride.

Useful information for horse riding:

If you are a beginner, the first 10 minutes are dedicated to basic instructions and horse handling. This will be followed by about 50 minutes of riding.
If you already have an intermediate or advanced level, a full hour of riding is planned within the Tenuta delle Ripalte and in the area of Monte Calamita.
The date and time of the activity must always be confirmed based on the availability of the Equestrian Center.
The indicative time slots are from 9:00 to 11:30 and from 16:00 to 19:00.

To participate, it is necessary to meet the following conditions:

• minimum age: 14 years
• maximum age: 60 years
• maximum age for already registered FISE riders: 65 years
• maximum weight: 90 kg
• required clothing: long pants, closed shoes, and short-sleeved shirt
• each participant must pay directly to the Equestrian Center €7 for the accident insurance
