Equestrian Center
The heart of Tenuta delle Ripalte is home to the A.S.D. La Bosana Costa dei Gabbiani equestrian center, the only one of its kind on the island. From there, you can access trails along the peninsula to the sea or to Mount Calaminta.
Trainers and horses are available for those who want to approach horseback riding and visit these pristine places.
The center, affiliated with FISE, the Italian Equestrian Sports Federation, offers its Members and clients activities for everyone such as: field lessons for beginners and advanced riders, horseback rides of different lengths for beginners and more experienced riders, and multi-hour horseback treks.
Two ponies are also available for the little ones, so they can get close to the world of horses and learn through games.

The horses are Arabian-bred and come from the prestigious La Bosana breeding farm in Piacenza, Emilia Romagna, which boasts the birth of 40 horses a year.
Staff and facilities
The trainers working at the center hold qualifications and patents from FISE, the Italian Equestrian Sports Federation, as well as professionalism and proven experience in the field of riding. The facilities available to the center are a large 20×40m sand field, a 30×60m grass field, a riding ring, a convenient saddlery, a large and new stable and several paddocks.
It offers a variety of trails, suitable for beginners and experts alike, ranging from the beaches to the top of Mount Calamita, through the unspoiled nature of the Elba Natural Park that completely surrounds the Center.
