The Fattoria is the agricultural branch of Tenuta delle Ripalte, located on the promontory at the southeast end of Elba that, with its vineyards, overlooks a coastline which features beaches and coves carved into the high cliffs (Ripe Alte).
At the center of the estate stands the beautiful 19th-century villa surrounded by numerous farmsteads. Thanks to respectful restoration projects, they now contain apartments that are ideal for a vacation amid nature and relaxation.

In 2002, we wanted to valorize the ancient agricultural vocation of the island, in synergy with the tourist activity. So, we planted a vineyard to resume the production of the most famous and typical Elban wine: Aleatico. It is a unique product, with a complex structure and unmistakable aroma, which is the result of the sun that ripens and concentrates it, and of the minerality of the land on which it grows.
The whole property is a natural oasis. It is completely set in the Tuscan Archipelago National Park, where, among Mediterranean scrub and majestic pines, it is easy to still encounter red partridges, pheasants, hares and wild goats.

Wine production
In 2002, a vineyard of Aleatico, the most famous and typical wine from Elba, was planted. It covers about fifteen hectares, spread over 4 areas, all above 180 meters above sea level. This ensures greater ventilation in a soil of volcanic origin rich in minerals, resulting in a wine of absolute value and value.
From this vineyard comes a production of Aleatico Passito d'Elba and a Rosé di Aleatico. An excellent grappa is distilled from the pomace.

From the Gorgaccio vineyards facing east, Bianco delle Ripalte is produced, a Vermentino IGT Costa Toscana. From Alicante and Carignan grapes, Rosso delle Ripalte is produced, a wine with a harmonious character that is very well suited to the seafood cuisine typical of the Tuscan coast.

The Wine Shop
The Wine Shop of the Ripalte Estate Winery is located on the terrace above the winery. Here, you can purchase our wines, gadgets of the Tenuta and other typical products of Elba Island. Gift boxes are available. Every evening, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., you can enjoy the golden hour from our panoramic terrace while sipping a glass of wine.
The Wine Shop is open during the summer season, in the same period as the Wine Resort.
Opening hours are from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day.
The Wine Shop has a small parking lot and is accessible to the handicapped.
In the months when the shop is closed, wines can be purchased at the Wine Resort Reception or online.

At our wine resort, wine making and tasting is a true art. You can experience it firsthand with our wine experiences. In fact, in addition to the sale of our Ripalte wines, we have created a series of experiences to help you discover the beauty and intensity of good Elba wine.
