Description
Made from grapes from the Gorgaccio vineyards in Capoliveri, Elba Island.
The vineyard, grown using the guyot training system, is the oldest Alicante (Grenache) vineyard on the Estate.
Vinification and aging: manual harvesting, vinification in
steel tanks with maceration on the skins for 10 days;
aged for a period of 6 months in second-passage French oak tonneaux.
Bottled the year after harvest, at the end of summer.

It is characterized by a fruity aroma and tannins that are
fresh and soft over a full, mineral body.
This wine can be served at cool cellar temperature and it pairs well with typical seafood dishes of Tuscan cuisine such as cacciucco and baccalà.
